Minted Carrots
Ingredients
1/2 lb baby carrots
1/8 tsp dried mint, crushed
1 tsp butter
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp brown sugar
Preparation
- Put a steamer in a saucepan.
- Fill it up with water just lower the base of the steamer.
- Cover it up and bring it to a boil.
- Put the carrots, and then cover it again.
- Continue to steam and cook for 3 to 6 minutes until tender.
- Drain the carrots.
- In a skillet, heat the butter over low heat.
- Add the carrots, mint, honey, and brown sugar.
- Cook for 3 minutes until sugar has melted and dissolved.
